Two Indian Army Jawans martyred, one belongs to Nepal

Two Indian Army Jawans Naik Sawant Sandip Raghunath & Rifleman Arjun Thapa Magar attained martyrdom in the night of 01 Jan, 2019 in an encounter with Pakistani infiltrators in a forest in Naushera, Jammu and Kashmir.

Naik Sandip Raghunath belonged to Munde-Karhad village in Satara district of Maharashtra state and he was just 29 years old. He is survived by his wife Smita Sawant.

Another jawan, Rifleman Arjun Thapa Magar belonged to Rip village in Gorkha district of Nepal and he was just 25 years old. He is survived by his parents.
