Two Indian Army jawans Gdr Ravi Kumar Singh and Gdr Prashant Singh made supreme sacrifice while fighting against terrorists in an encounter in Kreeri area of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Three terrorists neutralised in Kreeri area of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. Two soldiers were critically injured in the operation and later died,” Indian Army said on Tuesday.

Gdr Ravi Kumar Singh was a resident of Gaura village in Mirzapur district of Uttar pradesh. He had joined the Indian Army in June 2013.
24-year-old Gdr Prashant Singh belonged to Gvana village in Renukaji area of Sirmaur district in Himachal Pradesh. He had joined the Army in September 2014 at the age of 18. He is survived by his father Surjan Singh, mother Rekha Devi and brother Vishal.
