Four Terrorists Neutralised In Pulwama & Kupwara

Four terrorists have been neutralised in the two different encounters between terrorists and security forces in Pulwama & Kupwara.

Two terrorists have been neutralised in the encounter between terrorists and security forces in Dangerpora area of Pulwama. At present, the identity of the terrorists has not been revealed, but these two terrorists belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist organization. At least two-three terrorists were believed to be in the hiding in the area.

Another Two terrorists have been neutralised in an ongoing encounter at the Chanjmullah area of Handwara in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

According to local sources, the local people have also pelted stones at the security forces to disrupt the encounter. In order to keep people away from the encounter site, the security forces also had to use force and many people were injured in it.

According to a senior police officer, the gunfight broke out soon after the joint team of 55 RR of Indian Army, SOG of J&K Police and 182 bn &183 bn of CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation in the village of Dangerpora area of Pulwama district.
