Indian Air Force pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan who shot down the Pakistani fighter aircraft F-16, has started flying Mig-21 again. His Mig-21 was crashed in Pakistani area after shooting down the F-16 and He was captured by the Pakistani Army. However, he was later released by Pakistan.
Abhinandan has again flown the fighter aircraft after six months. In fact, on 27 February, his plane was crashed during an air fight between India and Pakistan and he was injured while leaving the plane.
The top IAF officer said, “Wing Commander Abhinandan has started flying the plane. Currently, Abhinandan is serving at an Indian Air Force base in Rajasthan.”
Wing Commander Abhinandan has recently passed the medical test of Indian Air Force. With this, Abhinandan has now qualified to fly again. A body testing institute of pilot’s fitness, The Bangalore-based Institute of Aerospace Medicine, declared wing commander Abhinandan fit to fly.
